Millennium World School, Samana, paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army by celebrating Kargil Vijay Diwas with great zeal and national pride. The event served as a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and determination of our armed forces during the Kargil War of 1999.

The programme commenced with a powerful speech by students, highlighting the significance of the day and recounting the valour of the Indian soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. Students also presented patriotic performances and skits, portraying real-life stories of war heroes that left the audience deeply moved and inspired.

A special act titled “Salute to Our Martyrs” was performed by middle school students, showcasing the emotional journey of soldiers and their families. The event aimed to instill a deep sense of patriotism and gratitude among the students.

Chairman Dr. K.K. Johri, in his message, said, “Days like Kargil Vijay Diwas are a reminder that our freedom comes at a cost. It is our duty to honour and remember the brave souls who protect our borders with unmatched courage.”

Principal Mrs. Shalini Cajla appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, stating, “Such events play a vital role in nurturing responsible and patriotic citizens. Our students must always remember the sacrifices made by our soldiers.”

The ceremony concluded with the national anthem and a pledge to serve the nation with dedication and respect.
