Samana, October 2024 – Millennium World School, Samana, celebrated Diwali with a heartfelt blend of joy, tradition, and charity, embodying the true spirit of the festival. The school organized a series of events that emphasized the importance of giving, community, and togetherness.
The day began with a special donation drive, where the school donated essential items including clothes, groceries, and food to support 50 underprivileged families. The initiative, supported by Chairman Dr. KK Johri, aimed to spread the warmth and blessings of Diwali to those in need, fostering a sense of compassion and responsibility among students and staff alike.
The school, under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Shalini Cajla, then performed a traditional Lakshmi Pooja, inviting prosperity and blessings for the coming year. Following the pooja, a small ceremony was held where the school management, led by Mrs. Shalini Cajla, distributed gifts to the dedicated staff, acknowledging their hard work and contributions with gratitude.
To conclude the celebrations, a party with delicious snacks brought everyone together, providing a joyful end to a memorable day. This celebration at Millennium World School, Samana, was not just a festival but a powerful reminder of the values of generosity, unity, and respect that Diwali stands for.
