Millennium World School, Samana Celebrates Van Mahotsav with Great Zeal
“Each one, plant one. Let’s make the earth breathe again.” Dr. KK Johri
Millennium World School, Samana marked Van Mahotsav with a vibrant celebration aimed at spreading awareness about environmental conservation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff, who came together to plant a variety of saplings within the school campus. The initiative aimed to instill a deep-rooted love for nature and a sense of responsibility among young minds.
Students from various grades took part in the plantation drive, learning about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance. They were excited and happy to be a part of the celebration and gained valuable knowledge about how trees help reduce pollution and save the environment.
The teaching and non-teaching staff also actively joined the campaign, encouraging children to become green warriors of tomorrow.
Chairman Dr. K.K. Johri shared his thoughts on the occasion, saying, “The best gift we can give to the future generation is a greener planet. Such initiatives help children understand the importance of sustainable living.”
Principal Mrs. Shalini Cajla added, “Planting a tree is planting hope. We are proud of our students for taking this small but impactful step towards a better environment.”
The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to protect and nurture the plants and contribute to building a greener tomorrow.
